About Us

From Red 7 Ranch owner, Teddy Omlor.

The Red 7 Ranch was officially founded in 2020. The idea of the business began when my father in law and I started to raise some animals together. We both have a history and love for farming and take great comfort and pride in knowing where our meat comes from and how the animals are raised. All of our animals and feed are locally sourced and are finished in West Michigan between our farms and farmers in Coopersville and Holland.

Eventually I decided to withdraw some savings and sell my quad that I loved to buy a small building, a couple freezers, and some equipment to open a retail store. Farming and having a meat market had always been a dream of mine and with my first child due in February 2020 I figured that the second best time to start something to make a better life for my family would be now since yesterday had passed. After doing only custom processed beef/pork initially our state licensed retail store officially opened in the Spring of 2021. Our specialty is raising beef/pork for custom processing but our retail store and meat bundles have become the staple meat source of many families locally. I like to say that our retail store serves as advertising for our custom processing options but we very much appreciate our retail customers as well!

We are on a three-part mission:

•  Building faith and gratitude through our products

•  Giving back

•  Chasing dreams and success

1.  God has blessed me immensely, and as I have gone through various stages of life, it has become clear to me how important it is to be strong in both faith and gratitude. The first part of our mission is to spread this clarity and blessing to others through our products. Everything in life is better when your faith and gratitude are strong.

2.  I have found that I am happiest when I am helping others or working toward a cause bigger than myself. As a business, we will be very targeted and focused on giving back. For every bottle of seasoning sold, $0.50 will be directly donated to a featured organization. This organization will change every 1–2 months and will align with our values of building faith, expressing gratitude toward those who have sacrificed for us, or other organizations/causes that bless others and make the world a better place.

3.  There is no better way to give thanks to God and to honor those who have sacrificed for us than by chasing our dreams, becoming the best versions of ourselves, and to continuously grow in our faith. I want to do everything I can to be the best I can be, chase my American Dream, while continuously growing in my faith and inspiring others to do the same.

If you have never bought meat from a local farmer I ask that you please give us or another local farm a chance. I truly believe you will taste the difference in the meat/seasonings compared to what's in the supermarket or big box brands and you'll be helping a neighbor.

Thank you for your support and for helping me chase my American Dream. God bless you and I hope to hear from you soon!

 The Name:

A popular question we hear is what does our name and logo represent? Our name/logo pays homage to the 7 red stripes on the American Flag. Simply put it is a way to show our patriotism, honor the flag, and serve as a reminder that we have much to be thankful for. It is designed to remember and honor those who have served our country and serve as a constant reminder that we are an American company and have a responsibility to chase our dreams and ensure the sacrifice and service of many were worth it. We are indebted to many for their sacrifices and it is our goal to honor them and promote the sense of gratitude and responsibility that drives us to all.
